It’s time for a New Adventure!

The Royal Rangers is based on the needs, interests, and characteristics of boys. The process for learning and growing through participation in fun activities, both with your age group indoors and outdoors. Designed to provide opportunities for adventure an fun. Making new friends, learn new skills, develop leadership, teamwork, and grow into their purpose in life.

Our mission is to evangelize, equip and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders. We provide Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment.

JUNIOR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY

WHAT IS JLDA?

The Junior Leadership Development Academy (JLDA) is designed to assist a boy in his leadership journey. It consists of several events that are held annually that will give boys fun-filled, intentional leadership training, along with powerful spiritual development opportunities. This training experience is designed to be a catalyst and springboard of spiritual encouragement.

Rangers Training Camp

RTC is designed to help prepare boys for leadership in the local group and outpost. RTC prepares boys 4-6th grade to serve as junior leaders in a boy-led, adult-facilitated outpost.

Junior Training Camps

The Junior Leadership Development Academy (JLDA) is designed to assist a boy in his leadership journey. It consists of several events that are held annually that will give boys fun-filled, intentional leadership training, along with powerful spiritual development opportunities. This training experience is designed to be a catalyst and springboard of spiritual encouragement.

Action Camps

Action Camps are training events for boys 8-12th grade and adults. They will learn exciting skills, such as backpacking, canoeing, survival, winter camping, etc., to take back to the local outpost.

Trail of the Saber

The award acknowledges the growth in servant leadership experienced in this process, starting in Discovery or Adventure Rangers and continuing through Expedition Rangers.

National Shooting Sports Program

The National Shooting Sports Program ( NSSP ) is a special program of Royal Rangers that promotes the safe and responsible participation in shooting sports by Royal Rangers Members. Launched in May of 2001, the NSSP exists to support the mission and purpose of Royal Rangers, while promoting a safe and rewarding shooting sports experience for all.

Designed to capture the interests of a wide range of young men and boys, the NSSP is a creative and exciting program where discipline and self-control is celebrated, and where the mentoring mission of Royal Rangers can be fully incorporated, Interactive and lasting friendships, fun activities, and fulfilling advancement plans based  on Royal Rangers merit guidelines provide boys with the opportunity to develop their shooting skills by participating in a variety of shooting sports disciplines. The challenge of individual and team competition extends from the Outpost to National Championships.

NSSP and Royal Rangers Competitions

Royal Rangers have the opportunity to develop their shooting skills by getting involved in the NSSP through a variety of shooting sports disciplines. The challenge of individual and team competition extends from the Outpost to National Championships. In addition, it is no coincidence that four of the six shooting disciplines offered by the NSSP are also Olympic competition categories. We are hopeful that someday, a Royal Ranger will be competing on the world-stage at the Olympics.
