Leadership Merits are an exciting and essential part of the advancement journey for all Discovery, Adventure, and Expedition Rangers. These merits give Rangers the opportunity to step up, build confidence, and develop real-world leadership skills while having fun along the way. Through hands-on activities, teamwork, and guided challenges, Rangers learn how to lead, serve others, and take responsibility in meaningful ways. Completing Leadership Merits not only moves Rangers forward on their advancement trails, but also helps shape them into confident, capable leaders who are ready to make a positive impact in their patrols, their community, and beyond.
The Junior Leadership Development Academy (JLDA) is designed to assist a boy in his leadership journey. It consists of several events that are held annually that will give boys fun-filled, intentional leadership training, along with powerful spiritual development opportunities. This training experience is designed to be a catalyst and springboard of spiritual encouragement.
